Purpose and goal

Swedish game exports are successful, many new opportunities exist in Asia. There is an interest in Swedish game business among Asian companies. The objective of the project was to gather intelligence, establish and deepen relationships and enable business or business opportunities between Swedish companies and Japanese / South Korean. All participating companies report new Learnings, new and deeper relations and business deals, negotiations or new business opportunities.

Results and expected effects

Exchange between Sweden and Japan / South Korea. Expected value of business resulting from this activity of 5+ MSEK is projected to multiply within 18-36 months.

Approach and implementation

Analysis and preparation with relevant companies, Business Sweden and business development consultant in autumn 2014. Visits to companies in Japan and South Korea, seminar organised by Business Sweden in Japan, participation in trade show in South Korea in November 2015. Follow-up and evalution in Jan-Feb 2015. Visits from Japanese and South Korean creators and companies to Sweden in May 2015.
