Purpose and goal

Roombler is a system, in the form of an app, designed for individuals and small accommodation operators worldwide to easily become professional hosts. The app gives the user full control of its operations with reservations, guest information, payments, etc. The app is available in the app store for iPad and iPhone. The project; ´Internationell market development for Roombler´ is part of our internationalization. The goal is to increase the number of test users, validate parts of the plan; that it is possible to reach our target audience globally efficiently.

Expected results and effects

During the project we has gone from 150 test users to over 400 test users from over 80 countries. We have validated the global customer needs by getting paying users in several countries in Europe, Asia, and Australia etc. Further, the work has shown that we can reach the target audience globally and to get them to find us. These parts have laid the foundation for our distribution and plan for customer acquisition.

Planned approach and implementation

Together with consultants, we have developed a strategy and plan for content (Content Marketing), Social and SEO. We have created a packaging and message through the chain with the concept ´Perfect Host´ to take a position in the market as a actor who actively want to help the smaller accommodation operators to become better hosts. This position and communication platform has resulted in a visual identity, communication (See www.roombler.com), distribution in all channels such as mail, customer communication and content partnerships (See http://perfecthost.roombler.com/.
