Important results from the project
It has been the objective of the planning phase to gather representatives from the industry, sport clubs and audience to collaborate and bring forward and specify demands, develop the context, content, organization and formulate the contribution of different participants. The goal of this phase has been to formulate participant´s needs, content of the contest, organization, implementation and how to bring the results to the market. The goal and purpose has been fulfilled in the planning of the project but this cannot be brought further as guaranties for economical support is missing.
Expected long term effects
The planning phase has resulted in a first group of participants who have started to work together to strengthen the development of Swedish innovation in the sport and health area. Joint business has formed from needs- and demands criteria´s, content for the contest and organization to implement has been formed and a plan to help the innovation process forward.
Approach and implementation
The project design with internal planning meetings in combination with workshops and other partner meetings to discuss collaborations, needs, content, organization, implementation and how the innovations shall be bringed to market has been successful. The rapid process (which may also be good) has been problematic because of the difficulty for some of the participants to make time to come to meetings, longer forward planning is needed to get more participants to join in and time to organize the economic support structure.
