Important results from the project
The goal of the project was to identify a solution for managing information in homes for elderly care, to replace the commonly used whiteboards with something more modern. The competition was a great success and the winning solution will now be implemented in a pilot project in a home for elder, in autumn, spring 2014/15.
Expected long term effects
The expected effects of an improvement in information management is clearer communications between all actors that interact in a home for elder. The identified solution will now be implemented and tested in a real-world environment.
Approach and implementation
The competition was executed in spring/summer 2014. THe jury consisted of representatives from OpenLabs, The Department of Elderly Care, Sqore and the Center for Social Entrepreneurship. The competition was communicated to entrepreneurs and innovators in Sweden, who were given a brief outlining the issue and guidelines for what was demanded from a solution.
