Purpose and goal
A bank employee, Cecilia Hermansson defended her PhD thesis at a public defence at KTH 2015-04-24 at 13:00. The title of the dissertation is: ´Understanding the relationships between bank-customer relations, financial advisory services and saving behavior´. The purpose of the project was to bring a bank employee to complete her PhD degree. This has been accomplished.
Results and expected effects
The result of the project is business development for the bank, through Dr Hermansson´s PhD project. The effects are bank business development through research.
Approach and implementation
The PhD project was designed around bank internal databases, and focused research questions that are of equal importance to the bank and the academic research community. The research sheds new light on the role of the bank advisor for bank customer savings decisions.
