Project duration | September 2014 - July 2015 |
Status | Completed |
Purpose and goal
The aim of the project was to see if there are conditions for Lidköping Thermal to be able to handle and burn sludge fuel mixture and obtain most of the phosphorus in a recoverable ash fraction. This purpose is fulfilled.
Results and expected effects
The result was that 70 % of the phosphorus ended up in the cyclone ash. The phosphorus content of this ash was 2.3 %. This phosphorus is technically possible to extract. To get further and investigate whether the Lidköping Thermal can deploy this co-incineration on a full scale deeper and further studies must be done.
Approach and implementation
Project implementation was postponed for 2 rounds. The reason for the first delay was a problem with slurry fuel mixture and the second that the coordinator of the project had to be replaced during the project time.
