Purpose and goal

Through UDI Step 1, TwoAct has brought together researchers, public sector and innovative private companies with the purpose to develop a digital solution that prevents mental illness among children. Together, we want to understand how digitalization can best empower the individual to deal with the challanges of life. We are aiming with the best in each area to develop and test a digital guide to strengthen the individual´s own resources to maintain good mental health.

Expected results and effects

Results of Step 1 is a collaborative project with several municipalities, researchers and innovative private companies. Several meetings have been held between researchers, RISE, the public sector and private actors with purpose to plan the research intended. Research is to understand how we can with the help of digital tools, strengthen individuals around difficulties in life. Several different areas have been identified, which will allow the project to carry out a research study and three pilot studies to see the benefit from a digital tool and were to scale up to other target groups.

Planned approach and implementation

Workshops with target groups to understand the challenges and needs. Prototype was designed together with RISE based on the workshops. Web page www.handle-it.se is created to call for collaboration and explains our mission. We have created materials and been exhibitors at the Kvalitetsmässan and Vitalis, major fairs for municipalities and digitalisation. We have been on four events with SKR´s Krafttag psykisk hälsa. We have presented the concept to over twenty municipalities, the National Agency for Education, Region Halland and the SPSM special education school authority.
