Important results from the project
The new product, business model and partnership suggested by Sinostream will facilitate in ensuring that no child in low resource settings misses life saving vaccinations due to vaccine stock outs at the point of care. This in turn will contribute towards decreasing under five child morbidity and mortality in low income countries.
Expected long term effects
The following results were achieved during the project: We organized various workshops and observations in the health centers and the District Vaccine Store to learn about the processes and needs. We understood what type of solution is necessary. We developed a business model and we discussed with local stakeholders based on their feedback we introduced changes in the business model. We have established partnerships with local authorities, health centers and NGOs. We learned that the need for our solution is great and that our solution can be scalable and sustainable.
Approach and implementation
ImmuneTrack product specification has been done through observations, workshops and group discussions with key actors. The product has gone through several iterations with end-users. Business model has been developed and tested using a tool ´Business Model Canvas´. Partnerships with local government, health centres and Non-Governmental organisations have been built through face-to-face meetings, workshops and follow-up calls.
