Important results from the project
For each year we have been able to increase the number of ideas with commercial potential that are subject to pre-verification. By using VCF the quality of the pre-verification is improved and it also creates more business opportunities for the projects.
Expected long term effects
The estimate for 2013 was 55 granted projects with an average grant of 42 KSEK. The result was 50 projects granted and an average grant of approx. 50 KSEK.
Approach and implementation
The weekly Verification Council meetings has worked out well and our researchers and students experience that they get fast response (regardless if the response is positive or negative). We need to improve the handling and traceability of incoming invoices - primarily to save time. We also need to get a better overview and traceability of projects that have left pre-verification - e g those entering incubators.
