Purpose and goal

The goal of H2 Health Hub is to stimulate startups in digital health, to more quickly reach the global market by providing a physical meeting place where startups, healthcare providers and global companies can work together side by side to jointly develop, validate and implement digital health. During the project period, processes and a creative environment to enable and encourage spontaneous and easy interactions has been tested and developed.

Expected results and effects

53 new members from 22 companies and four industry partners has moved into H2 since start in March 2016. One of the companies has grown from 4 to 16 employees within this period by being able to fully focus on their core business. Moreover, several member companies have initiated a dialogue with industry partners. 36 external events have been held with over 1600 attendees. H2 is becoming establish as a natural and important meeting place for health in Stockholm.

Planned approach and implementation

H2 organizes a number of regular events to promote spontaneous meetings between members and partners such as weekly breakfasts, seminars, and after works. On these occasions members and partners share their experiences, challenges and progress. Some of these events are internal only for members and partners to encourage building relationships and trust. Other events are open to all stakeholders and aims to share knowledge and information on trends, best practices and the latest sector specific issues, e.g. regulatory or reimbursement issues.
