Purpose and goal
The overall goal was to create growth in the incubator projects and companies, thus contributing to the development of our stakeholders and to the economic growth in Sweden. During the period, the incubator has support the companies in the incubator to reach their milestones and get to the next level. We have developed the structure capital of the incubator, the offer to the companies and contributed to the development of the Incubator Industry in Sweden and GU Ventures has been awarded as top ranked in Sweden and Europe.
Expected results and effects
The incubator has supported entrepreneurs with active and customized management support, financial and commercial networks and a creative environment with associated office services. During the period, the companies attracted more than SEK 200m in capital, recruited staff and board members. Several companies have been listed. We have also participated actively in developing the Regional and National Incubator Program by participating in SISP´s ERFA meetings, running ALIS Life Science cooperation, and taking the lead in developing the West Swedish Incubators.
Planned approach and implementation
GU Venture´s incubator offers entrepreneurs a well-developed business development process, strategic and operational resource support with multifaceted expertise, infrastructure, office space, colleagues, networks and capital in the following packages: A: People in the form of resource support, colleagues and expertise B: office in the form of environment and facilities C: Process in the form of structural capital D: capital in the form of own equity and via networks We have developed our offer during the period and streamlined processes and working methods.
