Purpose and goal

The aim of our close to market technical collaboration has been to develop a state-of-the-art monitoring system with the quality of being the first independent predictive monitoring system, for existing lift installations, with the feature of being able to anticipate technical failures before they occur.

Expected results and effects

We have together with our partner developed a predictive monitoring system for existing lift installations. The system has an element of machine learning with self-learning algorithms which gives it the possibility to analyse the movement pattern and directly report problems or unnormal movement patterns and predict technical failures before they occur.

Planned approach and implementation

We have a strong belief that the system which means new state-of-the-art within monitoring systems of lifts have a big market potential and can help property managers around the world to monitor and predict problems on their lift installations, before they occur. This new technological solution can with the feature of predicting reduce the number of accidents coupled with lifts by that the system will warn in time for a technician to come and fix the issue.
