Purpose and goal
The purpose of this project has been to find out whether it was possible to find confidence in the business plan for environmentally friendly bath room pods. Also to verify that we were able to fulfil all the technical demands for the product. Based on the results, we chose to move forward with the business plan, and move on towards experimental serial production.
Results and expected effects
We anticipate that the step towards serial production will be a substantial challenge as there are no readily available production equipment for this kind of production, this will be developed. But thanks to the project we have a better knowledge of what lays in front of us.
Approach and implementation
The project was well planned, but rather ambitious in regard to the time frame. Some parts have taken longer than anticipated, i.e. the choice of technical solutions. The work with the business canvas model has also been delayed. This is not surprising, but never the less it is rather unprofessional. It has been a learning opportunity and we have to admit that being primarily engineers we tend to avoid the business part this is something we need to address as we move forward.
