Purpose and goal
The goal of this project was to develop a new medical tool to facilitate treatment of aortic aneurysms. The technical development has progressed but the additional market research and user requirement dialogue has revealed a lack of compatibility with some of the current adjoining implants for the treatment. This is primarily due to the novelty of the treatment method and the lack of standardized procedures and products. With the current development, we will thus only be able to reach a portion of the market, which after further analysis is consider to small for being financially viable.

Planned approach and implementation
The focus of the project has been product development and parallel dialogue and further investigation of the market. In hindsight, a deeper user and market analysis could have been done during the pre-study.
