Purpose and goal

This project aims to establish long-term international scientific collaboration between Lund University and University of Eastern Finland, including mobility of the project leader. The scientific aims are to develop new treatment options for fracture repair in elderly patients with osteoporosis, and to establish the treatments clinical potential by evaluating the bone quality of the newly formed tissue. A successful outcome would result in enhanced quality of life for many patients.
