Dissemination of results in the public sector - a survey

Reference number
Coordinator Uppsala universitet - Institutionen för teknikvetenskaper
Funding from Vinnova SEK 185 500
Project duration December 2016 - April 2017
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The project has generated a report that generates reflection on working methods and forms of dissemination of results, success factors and obstacles within the public sector. The results of the survey have been compiled in a concise report and in a powerpoint. The results are communicated in seminars and workshops at SKL and to stakeholders in the contributing initiatives.

Expected results and effects

In the long run, the project intends to contribute to further development of dissemination efforts in which results, success factors and obstacles become part of increased learning in the public sector. SKL´s member organizations and other public sector organizations shall be better equipped to meet current and future challenges. However, it is too early to determine the project´s contribution to the expected long-term effect.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has analyzed six initiatives that have worked with exchange of experiences between municipalities or county councils. Dr. Klas Palm at Uppsala University has carried out the study. The study has been conducted through a qualitative method. Data collection has mainly been through semi-structured interviews. The work has also been carried out in close cooperation with Vinnova.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
