Important results from the project
The purpose of the project has been to develop knowledge, and to contribute to the creation of services and training programs, with a focus on organizing and exercising leadership in so-called innovation systems (complex activities with innovation ability). One goal has been to formulate and document knowledge and skills necessary to develop the kind of ventures in mind. A second goal has been to contribute to the development of services within consultancy as well as education in a substantial number of different organizations. Both the purpose and the goals have been met with a margin.
Expected long term effects
A relatively complete knowledge of how to develope a innovation systems has been put together, refined and consolidated through this project. The perspective has been the process leader´s, why the project created knowledge and pointed out skills that are action and activity oriented. Today, as a consequence of the project, there is widespread knowledge not only about the coordination- and collaborationproblems the project has had in focus, but also, more importantly, knowledge of where inspiration can be obtained. Something that is verified by the demand for lectures on the subject.
Approach and implementation
The method that has been applied is proven through previous projects with a corresponding focus and objectives. Through interviews based on a search for critical incidents, the analysis work in particular has been improved. The methodology experiences are a result in itself and could be developed to identify new systems for operational management in innovation systems. An aspect that has not been highlighted in this project as a development of a substitute for "management" in the kind of endeavors that is based on "wrinkled activities".
