Purpose and goal
The project had 3 main focus areas 1) Increase the amount of users and scans to improve our data for statistical analysis. 2) Analysis to define a group of target candidates for the service 3) Develop alternatives for a sustainable business model and product development for target candidates. All three areas have improved the ability for Detectify to succeed in the future.
Results and expected effects
The number of scan have increased significantly during the course of the project, the learning during our work will be important in the further refinement of our digital marketing strategy. Our understanding of customers different needs will make us adjust our marketing and pricing plans going forward.
Approach and implementation
The mix of internal and external experts in web design and digital marketing was key to project success. The external services have increased the abilities of the team on our internally weak knowledge areas. Some sequencing of activities could have been better planned, however unforeseen external factors resulted in re-planning of a few activities.
