Coordinator | Airwatergreen AB |
Funding from Vinnova | SEK 384 000 |
Project duration | March 2014 - March 2015 |
Status | Completed |
Purpose and goal
The project´s aim was to further develop Airwatergreen´s condensation technology CMCR/Heat Condensation, today´s market leader in energy efficiency (a doubling of energy efficiency compared to next best tech on market according to indep data), in order to increase its attractivity on new export markets. The target was to, through a new technological leap, further increase CMCR´s energy efficiency. The project produced a doubling of CMCR´s energy efficiency. Therefore, the project´s target has been reached.
Results and expected effects
This project has developed the CMCR technology further and produced new records in energy efficiency for condensing water humidity from air, and subsequently further increased the potential for a reduction of society´s energy consumption. Expected result from this project is that the company willl be able to offer products with an increased attractivity on the market through offering an option for further cost reductions for end users through decreased energy usage.
Approach and implementation
The plan was to in-house calculate, plan and sketch a test prototype that with the help of external expertise in machine-/prototype design could be produced into a laboratory prototype on which tests could be performed. Planning and implementation have been successful. A general analysis is that the development process is speeded up the more external competens that can be engaged.
