Purpose and goal

The project aim is to develop a technologie for marin use to reduce lube oil consumption. By combining mechanical separation technologies with chemical phase separation technologies developed by Recondoil it is possible to make a oil cleaning technologie with an efficency way above todays system. RecondOil has been able to further develop it chemical separation technologies, and the combined technologi has been verified and proven to work on dirty lube oil.

Expected results and effects

The project has strenghten Recondoil know howe significant regarding both the technology for cleaning of Marin lube oils and the Market stucture for such a product. The project all over results has been leading to a next step is already on it s way with comersial actors on the marin market.

Planned approach and implementation

RecondOil has implemented the project in a number of sub-steps, Step 1. defineing the conditions and limits on varius lube oils in use. Step 2. Collection and documentation of lubricating oils in various conditions. Step 3 and 4. Lab tests screning oils and process optimization of separation boosters technology Step 5. Pilot Driving with a full-sized equipment in collaboration with partners All sub steps has been able to carry up, and we have been able to verify the theoretical assumptions we had with real measurable results
