Expected results and effects

During the Stage 4, focus has been on eight projects within two program areas: Molecular and Cellular Tools and Bioassay Development and Biomarker Discovery. In all projects, valuable results have been generated, and in many cases these have already had an impact on the parties´ activities. For example, new technologies for quantifying proteins with mass spectrometry with high potential within the diagnostic field, for signal gain within so called Lateral flow analyzes for immunoassays and reagents to be used industrially for the purification of antibodies (patented).

Planned approach and implementation

Projects have been conducted as collaborations with the Center´s business partners, where they have contributed with their own work and reagents. Annual center days where all projects have been presented have contributed to the dissemination of information and that new contacts were created between the center actors.
