The goal of this study was to increase the knowledge of the maritime industry. This goal has been achieved to a large extent.
Expected long term effects
Expected effects from this study was an increased interest for the maritime industry, from a regional, national and international perspective. These effects have been reached in several ways.
Approach and implementation
This study has analyzed the maritime industry through national public statistics concerning companies in the maritime industry. The statistics have been enhanced throug qualitative assessments to strengthen the analysis.
