Purpose and goal
One focus of the project has been business development, it has among other things meant that we have participated in the program born global. The program have educated us in scaling businesses internationally by finding product market fit. Borg Global has taught us to work with customer development which has led to us to make conscious decision when it comes to pricing and distribution among other thigns. We have also worked a lot on speading knowleadge about web security, during the project we published 11 blog posts about web security, these have been read by about 30,000 people.
Results and expected effects
During the project we have launched Detectify internationally and received the first payments from our customers. We have found a pay model that works, but continues to evaluate to see if there is an even more effective way to get paid. Over a million people have seen Detectify ads and 65,000 have visited our site. In total, we have 4,500 users. The grant from Vinnova helped us get to the important insights about how we deliver our services and also laid the foundation for a few potential partnerships.
Approach and implementation
During the project period, we received our first paying customers, which indirectly means that we have achieved product market fit. However, we continue to optimize to become more accurate in our communications, advertising and targeting. Testing have been a great focus during the project, we have tried everything from copy to button locations and is now rebuilding the conversion funnels based what we learned studying customer behaviour. We have also visited the conferences LeWeb, CCC, SXSW, participated in the program Born Global.
