Purpose and goal

The aim of the Vinnmer planning grant was to arrange, in the period of May - September 2013, a couple of visits of Dr. Daniela Pappalardo (DP) at DFPT of KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm in order to prepare a full application for the VINNMER Marie Curie Incoming grant. Actually this aim was fulfilled, since the complete project entitled ´Bionedbrytbara funktionaliserade material för tillämpningar´ was completed and submitted online the 16 September 2013 (Diarenumm 2013-0433).

Results and expected effects

During the Vinnmer planning grant visits of DP at KTH, a research theme that would have been the object of the VINNMER Marie Curie Incoming grant application was selected. In this regard, the prospect to develop the DP career was regarded as a key point. The project plan, timetable, practical arrangements and financial part were discussed and planned. The discussion of all these aspects allowed DP to submit the final application (Diarenumm 2013-0433).

Approach and implementation

DP was visiting the DFPT of KTH twice: from 8-15 of June 2013 and from 31 of August to 11 of September 2013. During these weeks she met several members of the Department and in particular she had several scientific meetings with prof. Anna Finne Wistrand to discuss and finalize the project also in term of career developing, and with the administrative personals of KTH to set the financial part. As outcome of these meetings, the project was completed and submitted.
