Purpose and goal

The central part of the project is to secure the file of information used for the actual printing of the physical product in the machine. It contains an incredible amount of information and is very valuable for the industrial company to print its product. The goal is to create a "minimum value product" to evaluate the possibility of using the blockchain technology for additive manufacturing.

Expected results and effects

The project will create a "minimum value product" to evaluate the possibility of using the blockchain technology for additive manufacturing. The project is also a way for the industry generally to approach blockchain technology and see if it is relevant and can create utility for industry.

Planned approach and implementation

The project focuses on creating a "minimum value product" to evaluate the possibility of using the blockchain technology for additive manufacturing. Because the project focuses on a small part, it is imperative to understand the digital file and how the entire chain is connected. Therefore, the first activity will be based on defining the challenge and specifying which areas Superblocks will focus on. Activity 1 - Technical Specification Activity 2 Software development Activity 3 Communication and dissemination of results
