Connected and automated mobility, digital twins and drone innovation – these are three of the themes among the Swedish project traveling to the US. Vinnova hopes that the exchange will increase the development of technologies and services based on industrially applied AI, digital infrastructure and cybersecurity.

"Among the approved projects is a mix of startups, academia and institutes – all with a focus on industrial application. They are in areas such as industry, transport, energy, health and critical infrastructure", says Anna Delin, responsible for the call for proposals at Vinnova.

Each project could apply for up to 150,000 SEK to establish collaborations and build long-term relationships with US-based actors. As part of the initiative, there is the opportunity to participate in activities in Silicon Valley in connection with the Nvidias GTC AI conference.

"We hope that this the call for proposals will promote partnerships, collaboration and knowledge exchange with actors in the USA. Collaborating internationally is important for Sweden to strengthen its position. We look forward to seeing what exciting collaborations the projects will lead to", says Anna Delin.

The call is part of Advanced digitalisation, an industry-driven programme that will strengthen Sweden's and Swedish industry's ability to develop and use advanced digital solutions.
