Guidelines for using AI tools

AI tools in applications

It is permitted to use AI tools in a proposal to Vinnova. The applicant is responsible for what is submitted. This means that the applicant is responsible for ensuring that the content is correct and consistent with what is to be carried out, and that the proposal is in accordance with good research practice and does not contain plagiarism, falsification or fabricated content.

AI tools in the assessment of applications

Generative AI tools may not be used to assess the content of applications. The assessment must be made by people with relevant expertise. Applications to Vinnova may also contain confidentiality and as evaluator the information needs to be handled with great care. If a evaluator wants to use AI tools to improve the language or structure of written comments, this is fine, provided that no content is changed and that personal or confidential information is not shared with the AI tool.
