Important results from the project

The project “Next level GDCP” evaluated market leading processing software to connect to Globhe’s platform via API for automated map processing of incoming raw data from 11 000+ drone operators across 149 countries. The goal was to reduce the human in the loop, increase data quality, standardization and control. Post API integration with the highest scoring software, Globhe increased data standardization by 80%, reduced the time for data to reach clients by 65% and reduced cost by 20%

Expected long term effects

Phase 1 of the project enabled increased standardization of drone data from the 149 countries that Globhe covers, which now benefits digital twins and AI analysis of our world moving forward and, in the best case scenario, thus enabling important decisions within infrastructure and environment to be made faster as a result of better data and analysis.

Approach and implementation

Part A. Project success KPI’s were set Part B. Comparison Analysis - conclusion on most suitable map processing software for API integration. The software for integration was selected based on highest scoring for data quality, time, standardization and cost. Part C. Met with selected processing software in San Francisco to workshop and test API-processing pipeline to Globhe’s platform. Part D. Evaluation concluded the set project success KPI’s were either met or exceeded in the API test.
