Important results from the project

Goals were met by establishing a transatlantic partnership for AI-driven microfactories. We secured an LOI with a leading robot manufacturer for our pilot line. The project also produced a technical and financial plan for Step 2 and a market analysis for our Factory-as-a-Service model. We validated our technical architecture with experts from NVIDIA and others, securing access to critical hardware for future demonstrators.

Expected long term effects

The project establishes a transatlantic innovation axis in "Physical AI", strengthening Swedish competitiveness. Our scalable microfactory enables sustainable re-industrialization and circular business models through local production. This lowers barriers to automation for SMEs and reduces dependence on rigid global supply chains. The result is an agile industry with a reduced carbon footprint through shorter transport and increased resource efficiency.

Approach and implementation

The project had three phases: preparation with digital twin development, a stay in Silicon Valley during NVIDIA GTC, and follow-up. Using a digital twin as a sales tool was highly effective for communicating the project´s technical depth. Collaboration with US partners was successful, and the timeline was maintained. The US stay was central to validating the architecture and building the strategic relationships needed for the next phase.
