Do you want to be involved in creating this year's Innovation Week?

In order for us to be able to address societal challenges and achieve the goals in Agenda 2030, an innovative and collaborative public sector is needed. We are now opening registration for this year's Innovation Week, which takes place on October 3-7. As usual, we are the initiators of the platform and each organizer design and carry out their own activity and it´s free of charge.

The Innovation week´s goal is to spread and share smart solutions within the public sector. All actors who contribute to the public sector being able to meet the challenges of the future are welcome to organize activities during the week. An eligibility requirements is that an organizing or participating party represents municipality, region or public authority. The idea is to mobilize the public sectors to share work and solutions for a more innovative public sector.
New for this year is that we extra clearly highlight some themes such as circular economy, innovation in crisis, innovation procurement, utilization of data, strategic analysis and smart policy development.Another news is that international features will be offered. We hope that many take the opportunity to inspire and be inspired during the Innovation Week 2022.

The Innovation Week is a platform for everyone who develops the public sector where Vinnova, SKR, the Swedish Procurement Agency and DIGG (Agency for Digital Government) offer the platform for the joint program. You can compare it to Almedal Week, but instead of all the events taking place in Visby, the Innovation Week's events take place all over Sweden, both digitally and physically.

We are looking for examples of innovations and innovation work in the public sector that want to present themselves to a wider audience than usual. Therefore, we want to invite municipalities, regions, state authorities, civil society and academia to participate and/or organize activities during the week to talk about the project and showcase innovations. You decide whether it takes place in the form of lectures, workshops, exhibitions or dialogue meetings. To make it possible for more people to take part in the activities, they should preferably be in digital form.

Until September 30, it is free to register activities. All activities are published free of charge on Innovationsveckan.nu.

During last year's Innovation Week, approximately 200 activities were arranged, most of which were digital. How it turns out this year is decided by you organizers as you yourself create and are responsible for your programme and activities.
