In this grant scheme public sector organizations can apply for financing to cover costs induced from making use of and testing coworking in the context of hyrbid work. Swedish government agencies, local and regional authorities as well as their cooperation organizations can apply for maximun 600 000 SEK per organization. The purpose of the grant is to lower the threshold for public sector organisations to use coworking spaces as well as learn and develop hybrid work practices together. Thereby, we aim to create better and more cooperation for solving complex societal challenges. The coworking spaces used with the support of the grant should be adapted to the needs of the public sector. These spaces can certainly be those in Stockholm and Östersund that are included in the Samverket initiative, but could also be other spaces with a tailor made offer for cooperation across the public sector.
This offer will close sooner than expected due to the great search pressure and the fantastic response we received. Vinnova's budget for funding to public organizations to use coworking and hybrid work is SEK 8 million distributed over the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. Applications are assessed and approved on an ongoing basis. Applications can be submitted every day, but no later than February 22 at 2 p.m.

The last applications will be decided no later than 2 May 2023. For applications received after 16 November, no funds will be granted for 2021. The call is open for proposal throughout the Christmas and New Year weekend, but no decisions are made during the period 15 Dec - 15 Jan.
To apply for funding, you need to log in and complete an application form in our eServices portal. The application form contains questions about your project, the participants taking part in the project and your budget.
Please keep in mind that it takes time to complete an application. Filling in the templates can take several days, since they're based on analyses you need to do. Therefore, start the application well in advance. You can start filling in your details, then save and continue at a later time.
When you've completed your application, please mark it as done ("klar"). You can unlock and make changes to your application at any time until the call closes. If you unlock your application, you must mark it as done ("klarmarkera") if you want the application registered when the call closes.
Once your proposal has been registered, we will email a confirmation to the person in charge of the user account and to the project manager and company signatory. This may take a few hours after the call is closed.
When the call is closed, you can not change or fill in any new information. Then you can only complete your proposal if we ask for it.
Applications submitted to us become public documents. But we do not disclose information about the business, inventions or research results if it can be assumed that someone is suffering financial damage if the information is shown.
This means that we must release the documents if someone requests them. However, we keep confidential the information that we believe could cause financial damage if it is disclosed.
