Purpose and goal

The project has created a stable platform for sustainable work, which led to increased interaction between excellent Swedish research environments and an improved dialogue with the social partners, enterprises and authorities in Sweden and abroad. Key research areas relevant to sustainable work in the Horizon 2020 have been identified and a strategy for continued influence on Horizon2020 has been developed.

Results and expected effects

We have strengthened the cooperation in Sweden between research groups of excellence and deepened dialogue with the social partners, relevant government agencies and businesses. A compilation of essential areas of research with regard to sustainable work has been made. Interest in participation and knowledge of Horizon 2020 in this part of the research community has been increased.

Approach and implementation

A national workshop on key research issues and impact pathways was organised. The project was presented at European conferences. Content related to sustainable work in Horizon 2020 was mapped. Discussions on the needs for and direction of a platform were held with the social partners, enterprises, relevant research funders, department and agencies. Future research areas of importance to Sustainable work in a European perspective was discussed at an international seminar. A consortium has been formed for the continued operation of the platform.
