Purpose and goal

1. To create toolbox with educational support materials to help teachers working with´flipped classroom´. The basis for the toolkit is at hand. 2. To extend the test to include not only mathematics but also languages. Done 3. To extend the test to lower secondary schools, ie, grades 7-9. Done 4. To test the model with the flipped classroom inserting professionally produced ´content´ (ie textbooks), and new ways to produce such content. Done 5. To develop support materials for teachers for their work while using the methodology flipped classroom. A foundation is at hand

Results and expected effects

1. Commitment from at least three upper secondary schools to participate in the test environment. Fulfilled 2. Commitments from at least one textbook publishers to participate. Fulfilled 3. Description of SICS technical environment for the test environment. Fulfilled 4. An explanation of how the commercial rights issues will be addressed within the project. Fulfilled 5. A description of how support material for teachers should be designed. Fulfilled 6. A description of how the impact evaluation will be carried out and by whom. Fulfilled

Approach and implementation

3 workshops carried out with appr. 30 participants per session. Four main questions in focus: how to select what is to be flipped? How to create videos? How to create formative quizzes? How to plan the subsequent lesson? Great interest and several teachers have already started. Another three municipalities involved right now. Great interest even outside the workshops. One article published and attention given in local radio stations. Presentation of the project to all heads of schools in Region Skåne, which resulted in additional participants.
