Purpose and goal

1. To design and establish a collaboration strategy A program for collaboration has been designed and established. It is a general University program. 2.To define the prioritized strategic collaboration. Strategic collaboration and strategic partnerships are defined in the program for collaboration. 3.To develop tools to support, facilitate, and catalyze implementation of strategic collaboration. Verification for Collaboration and AIMday have been further developed. The tools have contributed to new collaborations and strategic partnerships.

Expected results and effects

´Collaboration tools´ have been further developed. Verification for Collaboration and AIMday have been further disseminated and generated new collaborations in new areas. Strategic partnerships have been launched. Two have have been established and plans for more are in the strategic plans. The steering group has become the Vice-Chancellor´s Advisory Board for Collaborations. The project results have influenced the University´s strategic plans ´Goals and Strategies´ and ´Program and Action Plan for Collaboration´ where a number of actions are directly linked the project.

Planned approach and implementation

UU Innovation has been the project´s operative unit reporting a steering group chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. The strategic partnerships, Verification for Collaboration, and AIMday have engaged a large number of employees which has facilitated the dissemination of project activities and results. The project has been highly visible and widely spread within the University due to the management´s engagement and due to the recently established Advisory Board for Collaborationran.
