SEED- Social Entrepreneurship and Urban Agricultural Innovation towards a more Sustainable Society

Purpose and goal

Our solution is to create employment and work for women born abroad far from the labor market through innovative urban cultivation and knowledge development. The initiative is driven by a number of different actors from different sectors of society. The goal is to develop a collaborative model for this type of effort that will lead to long-term sustainability, distribution of responsibilities and spread of financial investment among all parties. Innovative urban cultivation and the creation of new jobs are one of the major challenges of our time that FRÖ intends to develop a model for.

Expected results and effects

Collaboration from all sectors for common objective - minimizes / spreads cost contributes to long-term and stability Increased interest in urban food production with the hope of inspiring others to dare start other initiatives Interested target group - there is now a queue to participate in the project Attracted new customers and collaboration partners Change the approach to opportunities with food production in an urban environment for ecological and social sustainability Secured 2 colonies in the immediate area and cultivation in beds, direct connection with production.

Planned approach and implementation
