Purpose and goal

The project aims to support the emergence of new, innovative, and purposeful collaboration models and business strategies that can facilitate a comprehensive transition to a more climate-neutral transport system. We have studied actors in their implementation of approximately twenty measures such as biofuels, electric trucks, autonomous vehicles, packaging solutions, and altered logistics management. New forms of collaboration for identification, implementation, and monitoring have been identified. Methods for efficient resource sharing have been recognized.

Expected results and effects

Innovative forms of collaboration, critical resources, and approaches for resource sharing have been identified and analyzed. Actors and collaboration vary greatly depending on measure and in which phase (develop, implement, monitor) the change occurs. Similarities have also been identified, such as the importance of knowledge sharing. An agile approach that aligns the actors’ goals and views on measures ensures that more actions are considered and better adapted to the situation. Results have received widespread dissemination in Swedish practice and international research.

Planned approach and implementation

Each work package (WP) corresponds to a case study. Additionally, there is WP1 Project Management, WP5 Cross-Analysis, and WP6 Dissemination. Nine case studies based primarily on interviews and observations, and a survey study have been conducted. The case studies have varied greatly in size (from a couple of interviews to observations of over 20 meetings). Thematic analyses and the use of several different theoretical lenses such as paradox theory, Resource Dependence Theory, and network approach have been central.
