Purpose and goal
The purpose of this project was to expose kids, ages 10-12, to engaging technology and programming through the event Kids Hack Day that took place the 31st of august. During the event, 18 kids participated and learned how to hack everyday objects and make them interactive. The event was a huge success and all kids wanted MORE! Consequently we have now been forced to get our own permanent space, something which we are currently funding from our own pockets...

Planned approach and implementation
The 31st of August the admission free event Kids Hack Day was organized for children and their parents, thanks to the financial support from Vinnova. Since the event was a huge success Kids Hack Day wants to continue to organize free events to get more kids interested in technology. We hope to do so with further support from VINNOVA.
