Purpose and goal
Within the field of IT-security there a need of data related to IT-attacks. The properties of this type of data make it difficult to collect reliable data by observing operational environments. FOI owns a computer cluster comprising over 300 severs which is built to host practical exercises in IT security. Arrangements of this type make it possible to construct experimental setups in a realistic environment. With the funds from Vinnova FOI will prepare the computer cluster so that data can be collected from security exercises and security competitions and be made public.
