Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project and the overall goal was to develop and concretize the described the idea of the automatic emptying registration, and to develop a basis for a development project . This goal has been met in the project and there is now a developed and concretized idea and the basis for a development project. All four decomposed milestones to achieve the overall goal was reached successfully .

Results and expected effects

The concrete results expected from the project were in form of five deliveries : - A concept to proceed with. - An overall specification of the technical equipment required in the trucks. - A comprehensive specification of requirements for software and its integration with the vehicle´s technical equipment. - Full picture of the costs of implement the solution, how it can be done and what the consequences are. - A project plan, project group, cost estimates and a financing plan. At the end of the project can be concluded that all five results available

Approach and implementation

The project was structured in five work packages: AP1 : Concept Design AP2 : Requirements for technical equipment AP3 : Software requirements AP4 : Investigation of consequences of introducing the solution AP5 : Planning of a development project For each work package, there were a number of activities specified that more precisely described the work to be performed within the work package. The project was conducted according to these work packages/activities without major deviations and the final deliveries met the expectations set.
