Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** LTU and SEIIA have, with support from industry partners in the feasibility study, formulated a problem description based on the current situation with manual handling of P&ID drawings / diagrams, with a future capability that involves fully automated digitalisation of P&ID drawings / diagrams with AI technology based on image recognition. Within the feasibility study, we have been able to confirm that there are research challenges regarding automated digitalisation of drawings / diagrams based on image recognition, standards and data models.

Expected results and effects

Another important results is that we worked out the basis for a research application. The aim is to set up a sub-project within a major EU proposal.
