Coordinator SP SVERIGES TEKNISKA FORSKNINGSINSTITUT AB - Mätteknik
Funding from Vinnova SEK 20 100 000
Project duration January 2015 - December 2015
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The aim of the activities at the National Metrology Institute (NMI) of Sweden for 2015 was to make available high competence by e.g. keeping the same number of CMCs (Calibration and Measurement Capability) in the database at BIPM as 2014 and thus maintain the same level of service for Swedish industry. Activities within the NMI of SP covers Mass, Length, Volume/flow, Force, Pressure, Sound/accelration, Time/frequency, Electricity DC/LF, high voltage and microwaves, Photometry/radiometry and Temperature. See attachment.

Results and expected effects

The expected results of the NMI at SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden is to fulfill all aspects described within the area of maintenance of standards with investment in reference standards and including participation in international comparison measurements according to a Mutual Recognition Arrangement, MRA.

Approach and implementation

Project plans and implementation are summarized in the original application for maintenance of standards and related investments in reference equipment. The activities within the NMI of SP covers Mass, Length, Volume/flow, Force, Pressure, Sound/acceleration, Time/frequency, Electricity DC/LF, high voltage and microwaves, Photometry/radiometry and Temperature and recognized in full in the 20 appendices that were part of the original proposal. Report of the results is attached here.
