ERA-MIN 3, EU co-funded joint call: Project sketch

The call refers to international cooperation for demand-driven research in the metal and mineral area. The call takes place via the European collaboration program ERA-MIN 3 with the aim of promoting research and innovation in the raw materials field to strengthen industry, competitiveness and the shift towards a circular economy.

The five main areas the call focuses on are:

• Topic 1. Supply of raw materials from exploration and mining
• Topic 2. Circular Design
• Topic 3. Processing, Production and Remanufacturing
• Topic 4. Recycling and Re-use of End-of-Life Products
• Topic 5: Cross-cutting topics

Proposal takes place via a two-step process. In step 1, the applicant submits a project sketch no later than 1 April 2021. The project sketches that proceed in the assessment process from step 1 may submit complete applications in step 2 no later than 15 September. Decisions are communicated no later than 13 December 2021 and the latest start date is 1 May 2022.
