Important results from the project
The purpose of the project is to develop 3D core technologies that enable digitisation and real-time collaboration of fashion value chain such as: textile mills, pattern makers, retailers and independent designers.
Expected long term effects
The project developed successfully developed: A novel algorithm to realistically simulate the draping of garments in 3D, that is orders of magnitude faster than current market benchmark. A cloud platform for connecting fashion value chain members and enable exchange of digital assets such as fabric and patterns We also begin development of our 3D modeling tool, to enable user to intuitive design different garment patterns. The technology developed during this project allowed us to make a project sale to one of biggest players in the industry.
Approach and implementation
We designed the project to be implemented in 4 milestones, in which 3 consisted of software development and final 4th one of market validation We successfully developed first 3 milestones technologies, and on milestone 4 we were able to validate market by selling the technology developed during the project to a market leader.
