Purpose and goal

Eduzzo develops a digital learning assistent that provides both teacher and student support in the learning process. By studying the student´s learning behavior, the digital teaching assistant can identify problems in learning and provide support / coaching during the learning process, as well as train the student in different learning skills, such as searching for information, text analysis and problem solving logic. During the project we have developed interaction design as well as a model for using AI for analysis and support of the student´s development of teaching skills.

Expected results and effects

Idea and interaction design has been tested in a number of focus groups in Sweden and the United States. The tests gave a very positive response. Teachers and students saw the great benefit of receiving continuous support during the learning process. Support by paying attention to and identifying problems in learning, as well as training in and development of learning techniques.

Planned approach and implementation

Eduzzo has worked on a project model developed by the interaction design company InUse. The model is called the Effect Management Model. It´s about first and foremost finding the good of a project and all its parts, rather than working according to the so-called waterfall model. Rather than specifying features in the system, we first searched for the user utility or sought the effect of a specific function. Ideally, "actions" in the project should be measurable. In this manner, it can measure the effect of a particular function and match the action against a usage target.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
