Important results from the project

Simumatik AB wants to democratize the use of emulation software, support the digitization of sustainable industry and strengthen the development of skills of future engineers. During the project period, we have developed an innovative prototype that is the first step to a unique product. With our product, our customers can develop and virtually deploy efficient and sustainable solutions, implement energy optimization, operator training, and improvement work. Our flexible platform enables us to offer affordable solutions that can be adapted to different customer segments.

Expected long term effects

We have developed a prototype of an innovative emulation platform and implemented the technical validation with very good results. We have been in contact with industrial companies, automation companies and universities who want to start using our product. We have also started tests in real case studies with various players in the market. The company has grown and strengthened its expertise in important technical areas. We are ready to further develop the prototype into a product and commercialize it!

Approach and implementation

The grant has enabled the development of the prototype and validation of our unique architecture and emulation engine. We have experimented by using cloud services in different ways to increase the flexibility of the prototype. We have also had a great focus on the user interface to develop a useful solution for our customers. Finally, we have carried out various tests and started the collaboration with various actors in the industry and universities (at national and international level).
