Important results from the project

Shared Plate has developed a virtual market hall for mutual restaurant cooperatives that makes it easier for customers, suppliers and restaurants to do business. The restaurants´ various offers can more easily reach customers. The IT system combines cash flow with booking witch makes it easier for restaurants to plan production and for customers to find alternatives in the same place. The open association form makes it easy for new members to join. A public aesthetic platform with functional solutions is further developed after the project ends.

Expected long term effects

The restaurant cooperative is a unique cooperative model for collaboration between the restaurateurs and between the restaurateurs and their stakeholders. The model has received attention throughout Sweden and is being developed in more places. Through the virtual market hall with its facilitating functions, the opportunity to develop the project for further dissemination increases significantly. The benefits with collaborating between competitors and digitize a non-digital industry, facilitates scale up and generate larger orders.

Step 1 2020-06-30 -09-30 develop and validate prototype: -Mapping and prioritizing user needs -Visualization feeds, verification with need owners - Design and use tests of prototype - System development- and test Step 2 2020-10-01--12-31 Develop product - Workshop mapping digitization needs - Usage tests, iteration of prototype - Final high-level prototype - System development and test Step 3 2021-01-01 -04-30. Implementation of Pilot Implementation with hardware on one of the restaurants, Stair Metro. The others will join later.
