Purpose and goal

With the project Savely has created a first version of the Savely app. The purpose of the app is to aid young people in the age 12 - 18 to handle their personal finances. With the app a user can set up savings goal and be encouraged to reach them with social and financial incentives. Overall the major goal of the project has been accomplished. Additionally, we have included functions which helps the user to learn and develop their knowledge about personal finance.

Expected results and effects

The results from the project are that user that have tested our product has had a great interest in it. We have tested it with people in the age 9 - 19 and the results have varied but have in general been very good. We see that potential user, when surveyed, would like to use the Savely app and that they believe it would help them with their savings goal, budget and to achieve them. This is evidence for a more conscious thought process in relation to their personal finances We see that all testers would recommend Savely to a friend.

Planned approach and implementation

We have worked closely with several hired consultants. Together with we have set up clear goals and frameworks for the work we wished to implement. In close dialog and cooperation, we have together worked and achieved the wished for results. In March and April, we are working actively to reach the goal of the project and acquire more than 200 users for our product.
