Norm simulation

Purpose and goal

The project´s goal was to develop an initial concept for norm simulation along with a prospective client. The goal has been completely fulfilled, a first version of a concept has been developed in co-creation with two prospective clients.

Expected results and effects

Insights on the impact of norms on a company are essential for innovation and social sustainability. It is a big challenge to create a concrete understanding of norms and the impact to everyday business. At the same time, norm changes require long-term processes. The concept developed in the project meets these challenges in a new and targeted way. The concept will be further developed and tested in an implementation project.

Planned approach and implementation

The project began with research of methods and tools for simulation and norm critical work. We also looked at business models that have been successful in other areas to create behavioral change and changed consumption patterns. The concept was then developed and tested in co-creation with two prospective clients. The project has also developed a first model for licensing and intellectual property rights.
