Purpose and goal
Horsera´s vision is to connect practitioners, actors and horses around the world in a social platform. Horsera digitizes not only the horse - but also the entire horse industry. The goal of the project was to go from prototype to launch and test a first version of the equestrian sport´s social platform with users, customers and partners. Together with expertise from the project´s consultants, we have developed a scalable app in react native. The community-based part of our business concept could be validated and we have through the project developed the concept for our business model.
Expected results and effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The opportunity to communicate in equestrian sports is limited as long as the horse is not digitized because the horse is the core of the equine industry´s ecosystem. The project has created a solid foundation for a user-friendly and technically scalable solution to the problem. The progress during the project has been absolutely decisive, not only for the continued development and commercial success of our innovation, but also for the equine industry in general in accordance with Vinnova´s innovation agenda for sustainable equine industry.
Planned approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Our interactive prototype was used as a roadmap for the development of the app and the project has been carried out according to plan with support adjustments. Two of the activities were carried out without projected consultants as the team chose to reallocate part of the budget to other costs vital for the project´s implementation. Despite a period of difficulty finding IT consultants, we were able to achieve our set objective within the time frame of the project.
