Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Patients in prehospital emergency care are easily exposed to cold environments. There is plenty of research that explains the negative impact of cold exposure. This leads to increased tension, pain, anxiety and discomfort. Our solution is a completely new rescue mattress with integrated active heating that increases patient safety. The product can be used by different organizations. It can be lifted in, pulled in snow and used on cold and uneven ground. The company maintains a northern profile and the product is manufactured in Västerbotten.
Expected long term effects
The product is fully developed, CE-marked (MDD) and ready for sale. Contacts with potential buyers have been established and an exhibition is planned for this autumn. Hopefully, countless patients will receive better care before the turn of the year.
Approach and implementation
The WPs have been done but the approach was changed based on Pandemin´s conditions. Sales meetings have been exclusively digital and based on information and sales material that has been recorded. There has been a change. Physical meetings could probably be held to a greater extent during this autumn.
